The Power of Walking: Body Mind Spirit

I have learned that it takes different types of daily movements to keep me moving and active. Walking has become one of the most used activity I do on a weekly basis. Adding walking to my routine has not only helped my mood and body, it has also helped with getting out in nature more to experience and appreciate her beauty.

When I thought of walking in the past I thought of something that people do just to lose weight. But when I thought deeper about walking, outside of the physical benefits, there are a lot more things that walking helps with. I’ve recognized over the last year walking has really strengthened relationships at the core with who I share this time with. Walking with family, friends and even colleagues has created a space where I have felt much more comfortable with discussing things that I may ponder obsessively, unknowingly.
